    2nd time I've bought a replacement power supply

    This is the second time I've bought a replacement power supply for my HP laptop. I didn't buy a replacement because anything was wrong with the one that came with the laptop, I bought it as a spare, to keep in another room, or to travel with, so that I don't constantly have to unplug the original power supply. I think I bought both replacements from different vendors, but I am not sure, as I just searched for HP power supplies using the numbers on my original power supply. I noticed there are a lot of aftermarket and counterfeit power supplies. You have to be very careful, and I don't trust aftermarket power supplies. The first power supply I bought as a spare died on me recently. It had been working fine, and I'd only used it occasionally, but I plugged it in one night to recharge my ...

    thick and inflexible...

    This was purchased as a spare cord. I was careful to check the model numbers off of the one that came with my PC. This spare cord seems to function fine, I'm just not as happy with it compared to my original because the cord itself is thicker and less flexible/pliable than what I expected.
