When I asked for a refund, she claimed she had no idea because she bought it online herself—basically admitting she never checked it before selling it to me! Now, she suddenly remembers packing it herself and is “shocked” that the stones are missing. Which is it? Either way, I paid for a complete ring, not an empty setting. Having cleaned and examined it with a magnifying glass before taking numerous photos and posting the ad, I assumed that when the buyer said that stones were missing, they must have been totally un-noticeable to the human eye [my son also checked it]. Instead when the ring was returned by the buyer, the holes left by the "missing" stones were substantial. There is no way we could have overlooked them.
