Gives a view of what farm life was like in the South in the early 20th century. The author has a easy
reading style which keeps your interest all the way through.
Jimmy Carter was one of the few, if not the only, decent human being we have had as president of the US in recent history. This is his autobiography. I enjoy his writing style to the point I have bought several more of his books. I believe you will enjoy it. I believe you will learn something.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of Jimmy Carter’s family and early life. It reminded me of the way my parents grew up in the Deep South. Excellent read!
