    Premium sound bar

    Had the product for a year. A little expensive if you buy it on full retail, but its a steal on sale. Note that it is a sound bar so dont expect it to sound like a real surround sound system. The sound beams works well in rectangular/square rooms not so great in odd shape rooms/open living.

    Good sound but requires rooms with walls

    Sound quality is good and its quite an improvement from the sound that comes off TV speakers. However, I did not notice any surround effect which was the main reason for buying this soundbar system. I guess it would work better in small to medium sized rooms with walls on both sides that could bounce off the sound (I don't have a side wall). I also felt that the subwoofer is slightly on the weaker side, so the low end of the frequency spectrum is not deep enough. On the other hand, the build quality is good and setting up was easy. HDMI port with ARC is handy as it allows the device to be powered on/off with the TV. There are 3 HDMI ports and an optical digital port that I did not use. I also have not tried Yamaha's wireless music streaming functions. In summary, its a well-featured ...

    Good Quality sound and easy setup

    Really happy with the product. High quality sound to fill the entire room even though mine is in a large open space. I can't feel much surround out of it, but that's from the fact that it is placed in a open plan and no walls to reflect the sound.

    Great sound, Easy setup

    Very easy to setup. Great sound quality. It comes with 3 HDMI inputs which is sufficient to my setup but if you have more than 3 devices need use this soundbar, look somewhere else. The output resolution is digital output which means you need change your TV settings to pixel to pixel mode or turn off over-scan to receive the full picture.

    Great sound output, bass is richer that the previous ysp-2500, lots of useful network features like Spotify, internet radio, bluetooth streaming (in or out to BT headphones), 4k 60p HDR passthrough
