Torch-Song Trilogy is one of the best LGBT+ movies of it's time.
This movie is extremely well done. (spoiler alert) A gay drag queen falls in love with a younger man, who dies. The queen's mother can't understand the emotions felt after the death. I can understand the emotions that were bottled up and the grieving that didn't happen. Having lost my 'soulmate' 20 years ago, I still have the feelings of loss. This is a tear-jerker movie and I do recommend that people watch it. Great cast and they fit into the story-line very well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I laughed I cried I found strength
A great movie that never really got any publicity at release due to the divisive nature of gay rights at that time. The script was accurate and well written. I grew up closeted in the 70's and watched this on opening night in a little theater in Dayton OH. Whether str8 or gay, this is a most excellent first date movie.
