    A very secure mounting point

    Easy to install like a toggle bolt. After installation it seemed very strong, very stable. A little expensive but worth it for the security . Strength wise it would take real effort to damage anything attached to it. I mounted a grab rail with one end on a stud and the other using this wall anchor.

    Mounting in 1/4" fiberglass tub surround.

    Product works as advertised. I mounted it on a 1/4" fiberglass tub surround and it installed easily. I do note thqt there is some "give" on that end of the grab bar as the fiberglass does not provide a solid backing for the mount due to the fiberglass thickness, but that was expected. The other end of the bar is mounted into a stud, so that end is firm and the bar, overall, will support weight adequately for its purpose. This was a 36" grab bar and there was no option to hit two studs on 16" centers for this horizontal mounting.

    Hollow wall grab bar anchors

    I was skeptical at first. The manufactured home I was installing it in made me think this might not work as the walls are not as thick as a regular house, but I was able to work it in with a little finesse. It worked perfectly and the grab bar flange covers covered everything making this just what I needed.

    Works great with Moen Grab Bars.

    I have used 6 of these to install grab bars on a Fiberglass Shower and a Sheetrock wall. The only way to install grab bars on a hollow wall.
