Liner Note Author: Terry Reilly. Raven's 2010 two-fer combines Ronnie Milsap's 1976 album 20/20 Vision and its 1975 predecessor Night Things, adding five bonus tracks from the mid-`70s: "Too Late to Worry, Too Blue to Cry," "The Busiest Memory in Town," "I'm Still Not Over You," "(I'd Be) A Legend in My Time" and "Let My Love Be Your Pillow." The two LPs capture Milsap at something of a smoky, soulful peak, lingering on smooth ballads that are occasionally punctuated by a lively number, usually a cover of a classic like "Lovesick Blues" or "I'll Be There." As good as these bits of bouncing country-pop are, the chief appeal of this two-fer is hearing Milsap croon sweetly, which he does often and always winningly. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
