      Saved my Bacon!

      Cost savings from OEM. Worked great once installed. Unit did not fit as received (I have old 1987 vintage John Deere 165 Hydro). Could not get proper air gap clearance with magneto. Easy Fix - Used small round file to elongate mounting hole. Works fantastic! Highly recommend.

      Didn"t work

      It turned out that I didn't need the coil so I purchased an ignitor. I thought since I had the new coil I would leave on the engine but I still couldn't get it to start. I put the original coil back on and it fired up.
