    It Doesn’t Move!

    I’ve had a nightmare with every suction type phone holder in my Volvo V50. They all stick great for a few days, then spring off when I’m driving. I attach my phone holders on the dashboard which has a slight curve to it, but when it gets really hot under the sun the sticky cup must expand and lose its grip. Nothing seemed to work to make it stick for more than a few days so I needed something else. Having done some research, one of these weighted ‘Bean bag’ type holders seemed to get good reviews so I decided to make a punt on £13 to see what happened. It literally hugs my dashboard and the phone holder hasn’t lost its suction on the plastic disc installed in the centre.     Not the cheapest but the best.

    I have tried cheaper dashboard mounts and found them a waste of money but this one is well worth the extra. It has a great non slip base material but it is not sticky, and the mount will mold to just about any shape of dash top.

    Beanbag for satnav in car

    I bought this to replace my car built in sat nav as it’s out of date with soft wear, so I put my tomtom motorcycle satnav on the new bean bag and it’s held it in there perfectly.
