Great part - but read this for instructions on installing it
This is a plastic cover and sleeve for the 12V socket. It is well made and a perfect match. It is painful to figure out how to install. For 2011 Ford F150 (READ ENTIRE PROCEDURE): You MUST take the center console partially apart. Take off the center console cover (3 star head screws) - this allows you to partially pull up on the back of the console where two tabs keep it tight - do not try to remove the entire top as it will require more screws be removed or you may break it. Once the center console top is partially up, it reveals two hex-head screws on the back - remove these and then carefully unsnap the back of the console (2 tabs at bottom should pull loose easily). Now disconnect all plugs - mine had a 120V plug and a 12V plug. The 12V plug MUST be dissembled and reassembled ... This is a plastic cover and sleeve for the 12V socket. It is well made and a perfect match. It is painful to figure out how to install. For 2011 Ford F150 (READ ENTIRE PROCEDURE): You MUST take the center console partially apart. Now disconnect all plugs - mine had a 120V plug and a 12V plug. The 12V plug MUST be dissembled and reassembled in a certain order - this got me the first try. If you are throwing the old plug cover away you can break (or cut) the plastic tabs holding it onto the back-console - otherwise you must pull (or push from the inside) the two tabs that connect the plastic cover to the METAL SOCKET out at the same time and the pieces come apart - it is hard to do using the tools I had available. (Note - you must get the metal socket out first to get the plastic cover to come out or you will break the plastic cover or back-console - you can cut the tabs but that ruins the plastic cover) Once the metal socket is slid out, it is easy to push on the tabs holding the plastic cover onto the back-console part. WARNING: You must do this in the correct order - first install the new plastic cover into the back-console part snapping it into place and THEN insert the metal socket into the plastic cover - if you insert the metal socket into the cover first you CANNOT get the plastic cover into the back-console (it's tabs are locked outward to hold it in place). If you do this in the correct order this is an extremely easy procedure. Now reattach the wiring plugs to the sockets, snap the back-console into place, install the two hex screws, snap the top cover back down (which you never removed, you just had it raised slightly), and reattach the center console cover (Mine used 3 star-head screws). Had I known the procedure before I tried to install the plug it would have taken me less then 20 minutes. Discovering the procedure took me over an hour. I hope this helps others.

Easy replacement once I figured out how to take apart the old one
Arrived in just a few days, before it was promised. Once I figured out how to remove the old part the replacement was easy. Installing the new part was virtually idiot proof and took all of 30 seconds. Looks factory new. I’ve only had this vehicle for a little over a month but if I need to replace anything else I will look here first.

This is a direct OEM replacement for your Ford vehicle. It does not c0ome with instruction but there is plenty of information on line (you tube, etc.) if you want to install it yourself.
