    Watch you don't get a flood

    Filter body was type suitable for fitting drain hose. No drain hose on the original so had to change old body onto new pump. Either that or block the connection. If you don't you will get a flood. Application list stated suitable for my machine, but it wasn't. Needs to be clear on the advert regarding this point.

    Washing machine drain pump

    Described exactly as it is. Very basic DIY fit that took about 20 minutes. The washing machine had a foul water smell to it if it had been left for a few days as the water wasn't completely draining away with the old pump. The old pump had no visual signs of wear or fault but we took a chance and changed it any way. This cured the fault perfectly.

    Would buy again

    Yes it has solved the pump not working problem. The big problem now is that I have moved the machine to my house from my daughter on laws house to repair, and in the movement I have dislodged the door seal which is proving impossible to refit as the front of the machine is welded on. I am going to have to find a professional fitter to refit it.
