      Good price, good fit, factory original, good design.

      Fit like the original, works perfectly. It is designed to swing out of the way if something is hit. But it will not 'release' every time. Sometimes it will break. But even if it breaks once in a while, it is cheaper to buy these mounts than a new transducer. I could make one out of metal easy enough but I would rather keep buying these 'swing away plastic' ones.

      No good alternative but fits the transducer its made for

      Its not a good value when you fish rivers and creeks with rocks and debris. This is the third time I have replaced this one, they break easily. This product needs to be made of metal and be free floating to be used in these applications. The old mounts were much better, however they sell more of these cheap ones due to failure.

      Could be better made

      All plastic construction except the screws. The section the transducer mounts to should made of metal since it has the flip up feature in my opinion. I have broken a few of these in that location.

      Replacement Bracket

      First bracket broke so brought this one easy to mount and works well. Only took 5 minutes to install.

      Replaced broken one

      Replaced the broken one. Exact replacement. My brother has one on his boat so bought a spare in case he breaks his one day. Freak accident is what broke mine. Log about six feet long and 12 inches round got between my outboard and my boat. We pushed the log out sideways and that is what broke the orginal bracket. I am always putting mine to the test and this was the first problem in five years. Hope this helps.
