    Not quite the answer.

    The sun shade fits the 6" TomTom and does shade the screen. It is, in itself, well made The flaw is that the upper section is solid plastic and the weight of this section, heavier than the 5" version, causes the device to tilt forward and in one case fall off the screen. I will figure a way to reduce the weight of the thicker section. A hollow moulding would be better.

    Inexpensive & effecive

    easy to fit although a little manoeuvring is required to ensure nothing on the screen is obscured. Reduced most of the glare even in the, very sunny, south of France. A little bulky for travel but without the depth of the visor it would be much less efficient

    Helps a Little

    It helps a little but doesn't really solve the poor design of the SatNav, which has limited brightness levels and the screen becomes invisible at the first sign of sunshine. That's not really meant as a criticism of this product as I doubt if anything would solve it other than removing the SatNav from the windscreen to the dashboard area, which is not practical for our car.
