I measured these dampener rods and they are .010 thinner than the original parts I replaced, however this does NOT affect the performance! I have run dozens of loads of laundry (at least 3 a day) for about a month now. I even ran a queen size comforter and the machine didn't bang! These parts have refurbished the washer back to like-new condition! Absolutely worth the 40 bucks. Don't waste your time/money on the cheaper ones, these work. A+++
