I bought this product because I had bought lots of vinyls that had been stored in a warehouse. They were dirty and needless to say, very crackly when played. Other cleaners where useless because of the dust. They didn't go deep enough to clean the embedded dirt. Then came Winyl. I watched the video and then followed it precisely. The result was exceptional. It did not only clean; it deep cleaned my vinyls. It is worth it and real value for money. Enough said. Try it. A word of advice to give results: When applying the solution, be generous. If you apply too thin, it does not come off easily in one piece. Secondly, don't apply to the very outer-edge. Leave a tiny margin and you'll get very good result. Finally, please wash your hands before spreading the solution with your fingers. If possible, use a spatula- works better.Read full review

I have a Clearaudio Matrix record cleaning machine and it is excellent at cleaning records. Or so I thought, until I used Winyl. I had an old James Brown album which clicked and jumped quite badly and the Matrix could not make it better. I used this album for my first use of Winyl and to be honest I thought it was a bit messy to use. Once the gel dried it came off the record without any fuss or drama and the results were astonishing. All surface noise had gone, the record did not jump and the sound improvement was hard to believe. It was like listening to a different LP. I have since cleaned several cherished LP's and the results are mind blowing. I am now expert at applying the gel and the initial thoughts of it being messy have now gone, the application of the gel pails into insignificance once you hear the results. I would recommend this to anyone who is passionate about vinyl as it does genuinely make a difference. The only down side is the drying time, but let's be honest, this is a small inconvenience when you consider the results. Give it a try, you owe it to your records.Read full review

Not an audio buff or vinyl snob so take my review as you will. I applied this to a few of my older teenage vinyl that had been neglected in storage and so on... long story short, after the usual liquid cleans and slippy needles I tried Winyl. Spread a small layer over the playing surface and spread it thin edge to centre. Stick a small piece of paper over hanging edge for later removal... the walk away and leave it to dry... once dry use said paper to peel of the Winyl... ‘tis like removing a face mask (yes I’ve tried them too) . Can see particles on the removed Winyl, surface looks good, the proof is in the playback for me... previously poppy and clicky discs significantly improved .. Hope that helps someone. O yer, the peel is satisfying too, removes in one piece.

I was very cautious to use this product initially as the thought of destroying some very precious retro vinyl really worried me. I tested the product on a b-side 45 choosing to spread the winyl with my finger after applying the formula with the syringe. I placed paper tabs on the wet liquid so that I something to use to peel off. Having left the formula to set overnight the dried winyl was easy to peel using the paper tab I'd embedded into the surface. It worked like a dream, lifting all the contaminants from the surface of the record leaving the b-side with very little surface noise when played. I'm a professional radii DJ who needed a product to restore my old 45's to load into my jukebox at home. I've been using this product to restore many records all with complete success. Please note that I have not tried the product shellac or Bakelite as manufacturers instructions advise against it.Read full review

Having used the revirginizer without especially great results, I thought I'd give Winyl a try just incase. Well what a difference! First thing I noticed is the imprint of the groove on the film as you remove it. Which would suggest that this really is getting deep down into the groove. And the results are very good. I bought an old Supertramp album at the weekend that looked scratch free, but was dissapointingly crackly. One treatment with the Winyl and it's transformed. Although I have an old 60s Sinatra album that hasn't been transformed quite as dramatically, but I'm optimistic that with another go it'll sing like it should. Great product, very effective. Give it a try.
