    Great

    Previously bough a chinese copy for 30 quid which didn't align well with the holes in the engine block and caused the car to smoke and go into a limp mode. The mechanic told me this was due to a bad air module on that unit. So bought this genuine cover and what a difference it had made, everything fits perfectly and all the problems have gone. This is a genuine part, at least 50% cheaper than feom other online car parts stores. Would definitely recommend.

    Works but doesn’t fit easily

    I hoped that it would have been identical to the OEM part but without the name but it was clearly from a different moulding tool. It looked OK though. When I came to fit it I couldn’t get both dowel pins and all bolt holes to line up at the same time. I struggled for half an hour trying different orders of putting the bolts in. In the end I had to push out one of the dowel pins and grind a taper on to it and also grind a bolt. After doing this it fitted and has sealed with no leaks but you do have to tighten all bolts in sequence and retorque them several times as the engine warms up. In summary it does the job but was a pain to fit. I’ve never fitted a genuine part so I can’t say if that would be any easier. I would buy one for DIY fitting if you have time and patience but for garages ...
