    No instructions, but looks good

    You need to only hook up the output wire according to the manufacturer. There is a 3 prong plug on the back that doesn't connect with anything. I'll test the amps when my project car is done.

    Not a good deal and why was it hot without running for 15 hours

    It actually tests out at 50 amps and not 90. How can that be? You advertise it as 90 amps! The mechanic installed it Friday, I drove it home and on Saturday morning it would not start. I opened the hood and the alternator was was too hot to touch and the vehicle had not even been started.in 15 hours - figure that one out. ?????????????????????? When I took it to an alternator shop this morning (in business for 25+ years) he said it tested out but it may be intermittent at doing this, He said it was junk, I said should I return it and he said you would get more of the same. I got the mini from you because it was chrome and I needed a small one in order for the hood to close. I just put a new engine in it and wanted it too match and he could not build a mini alt in chrome It is in ...

    90 amp sbc short pump

    Beautiful chrome ultra small body that puts out 90 amps max. This was a good fix for no room on a 30 ford roadster, with a small block chevy. We had to make the brackets we never found any prefab that would clear the steering gear
