Great seller! Fast shipping, Good products, reliable seller, Highly Recommended A+++++. For the Splice Tape, the width is a little bit narrower 1/4", if the width is 1/4" as the tape width size I prefer.

Splicing tape width is supposed to be a little narrower than the tape is, or it would be nearly impossible to line it up with the tape without some part of it overhanging the edge of the tape. You don't want an edge hanging over with exposed adhesive! So it is slit ever so slightly less than 1/4" by design. All splicing tape is supposed to be cut this way, no matter who makes it. It's a standard in the industry.

I've only had the chance to repair a few tapes with this kit, replacing old tape and leaders, but it has worked perfectly and has run through my machine flawlessly. I'm looking forward to working on some more reels soon and glad I can find quality products like these.
