Look and fit of the Otter Box is great. My Iphone SE is protected nicely. Be aware though, that this Defender case comes with an "in Place" plastic protective screen cover. I already had a good glass screen protector on my phone and decided to leave it in place while using the OtterBox. The touch screen is a little less sensitive now but still works fine. My last Defender case saved my phone in a 12 ft drop from our loft onto hardwood floor. Case didn't survive but the phone did. This case seems just as tough and durable. Good looking case. I also like the protection given to the charger port and the ear phone jack. Keeps them clean and dust free. I would strongly recommend this case.

This unit is a little different from the 3 other defender units I've had. There is no protection over the home button. Good protection over the other buttons ,and charging port. It appears to be as durable as the other ones I've had time will tell. My only complaint is moisture trapped under the screen makes it very difficult to see. I've repeatedly cleaned both the phone and the defender screen only to have it reappear with a few minutes. After a few hours it takes up most of the screen. Can't explain it, the opening over the home button may be it.

I don't think I can come up with any cons for OtterBox Defender. I've used them for years on all my phones and I have never even had a cracked screen with OtterBox protecting my phone. Solid, rugged and lasts for a long time. Easy to take apart as well when you want to clean it or the screen.

I like this case a lot especially since it is Otterbox, and it wasn't too expensive. However, there are a few minor flaws, such as the home button; It is better than the previous Defender series for the 5/5S since the home button snaps in place and keeps the rubber from wearing out and stretching at the bottom, BUT it doesn't sense your finger well and you have to press down hard for it work, which presses on the screen and that will wear out the screen overtime. There are some ways to fix this, one method I saw on Youtube was cut out 1 or 2 plastic circles from a water bottle or a soap bottle and place them underneath the snap-in home button and it should help it a little. Something you could try that I haven't yet is maybe glue a very tiny bead of JB Weld on the bottom of the rubber button and maybe that will help, but IDK. Besided that minor defect, overall it is a nice case, and I know it will protect my phone just as well as my old Otterbox Defender did. Thanks!Read full review

This otter box is different than the original in that the power button merely has a hole in the screen protector for access. This will allow any moisture it comes in contact with to get under the screen saver causing possible inaccuracies or damage. I don't like it as much as the original but it is every bit as effective for impact protection.
