A town that time forgot - no factory in sight
This kit package is a little much for casual model building, but i am taking my time and only build one of the kits at any one time. The individual instructions are not very good and probably would benefit from a modern treatment. There is also a lot of “flashing” on the plastic parts, which needs to be cut or filed off before assembly. The pinkish color of all parts is not at all usable and you will have to paint EVERYTHING! The small metal casting accessories seem to come from a different time when the world was simple and nobody asked for precision on a trainset. I wish the manufacturer would wake up and discover 3D printing.

Woodland Scenic Town and Factory: Fantastic Value and Awesome Details!
I have in the past purchased many N Scale kits from several different manufacturers. I have found that Woodland Scenics / DPM kits to be the best overall! The awesome detail work and ease of construction makes this a great buy for the experienced kit builder, and for the beginner as well! I had heard one of the great modelers say that there were defects on these kits and in another video compliment the details? I have never found any defects unless you consider broken bricks within the details an imperfection? I have never seen an older brick building NOT have broken bricks, which to me was a great addition to the actual details within these kits! I have travelled all over the U.S. and stayed at, shopped at, and even eaten in buildings such as these everywhere! Klamath Falls Oregon... Cheyenne, Wyoming, Elizebethtown Kentucky... Sonora or Mt Shasta, California, etc etc. Just Google images the downtown areas of any older town or city and you will see exactly what these kits represent!
