The second-cut stag handles are toasted and jigged, no bark, and in my opinion could have had the crisp edges rounded so the knife would feel less blocky in the hand. The 440 Stainless blades are sharp but have weak snap. That said, it looks impressive with both blades open, a span of 11 inches! I've carried it for several days now, and my appreciation of the knife continues to improve.
