Fixed my TV in about 30 minutes
This kit worked great to fix the "power out" problem. If your fuse F101 is bad but the others Ok, then this kit is what you want. I didn't have to use the resistor that came with kit because I tested the old one on the board and it still was functioning with the proper resistance so I left it. You will have to replace a small square piece with 7 connectors to the board that requires some descent skills and small soldering tools to accomplish. The old one was cracked and easy to see once I knew where to look (a couple inches above the fuse).This kit worked great to fix the "power out" problem. The repair kit for the Philips HDTV Power Supplies
This is one of a couple of kits available needed to repair the Philips 47" HDTV Power Supply marked PLHL-T722A. If you have decent soldering skills then this is an easy to use repair kit. It has the main parts needed for most repairs but some other problems/issues this kit does NOT address are faulty capacitors (would have been nice additions at a small increase in price). Otherwise it can be you quick fix for a low price and let you salvage an otherwise great 47" HDTV.This is one of a couple of kits available needed to repair the Philips 47" HDTV Power Supply marked PLHL-T722A.
