Great slide/negative scanner, with excellent quick scan feature.
The Quick Scan feature is awesome and that is what I use 99% of the time. Occasionally it crops more of the image than it should, in particular, if there is a large amount of area which is undistinguished (such as snow). I seldom use IntelliScan. Firstly, it is slower with minimal improvement in quality. Secondly the software is overly complex to use and the overall user interface/experience is quite poor (at least on Windows). The user interface looks like it has not been updated in a very long time.The Quick Scan feature is awesome and that is what I use 99% of the time. SIlverfast upgrade process is a little tricky but you end up with the latest version 9. The Silverfast software is powerful and most suitable for enthusiasts and not the casual home user or anyone with little interest in digital photographic editing in my opinion. Good product old software. 🤨
Once I sorted out the old software, it worked well. When I purchased it I was under the impression it was only 12 months old and used only once. From the software it appears to be much older than that. But the product is just what I wanted.

Amazing slide scanner! Slides appear amazingly fresh, makes the old photos developed from the same negatives look very tired. Software is awesome to use - the auto colour correction works very well. Using my Plustek 8100 on OSX 10.14.6

Does the job very well. Suits what i need to digitize my 35mm slides. Takes a bit longer than I thought it would especially when in the dust removal mode. The end product is well worth the time spent.
