      Better Than Buying a New External HDD

      Product works just fine. Although a relatively expensive in terms of its role as a small component of the original HDD (i.e. cost equalled about 25% of the entire product), being able to replace our lost connector cable extended the useful life of this external drive. So it was cheaper than having to buy a new HDD.

      Seagate freeagen cable replacement

      Arrive promptly and as advertised. it did not fit the housing of my Seagate drive without grinding a small amount of material off of the left and right corners of the section that inserts into the rear of the drive. After that - all worked well.

      Easy Upgrade

      I wanted to replace the hard drive in my laptop with a hybrid drive. I used this upgrade cable to easily clone the old drive onto the new one through the USB port on my laptop. This allowed me to simply remove the old drive, physically install the new one and have the machine boot up perfectly. It was much easier than I had expected with no glitches.
