  • Not Much New To Satisfy Hungry Fans

This movie could basically be Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla 2...the sequel to the first appearance of Mecha-G in the new millenium series. There really isn't much new to this film. Godzilla returns after healing, MechaGodzilla is still being repaired and is in complete disarray...pretty much this story just continues the ongoing saga from the previous film. The only major difference here is that Mothra makes an appearance. However, this do-gooder seems to be out for his own personal gain. The twins state that Mothra will attack if the Japanese people do not put MechaGodzilla to rest...but he just ends up protecting Japan against Godzilla anyway. Hmmm...confusing...contradicting...but none the less, if we strike these first thoughts from our minds, we're left with a very good ...

  • The Millennium Era might not be my favourite, but still a good movie.

Tokyo SOS is the only movie in the Millennium Era that actually continues from the previous movie (Something that I really dislike about that saga). The plot centres around Mothra being angry that the bones of the original Godzilla were taken from their resting place to create Mechgodzilla. A small group of people try to warn that if the bones aren't returned to the ocean where they belong Mothra will declare war on the humans. Mean while the military is still trying to finish of Godzilla after the last battle between Mechagodzilla, which left Godzilla's chest heavily scared, making his chest weak to attacks. Although I love all the Godzilla movies, the Millennium Era is easily the weakest out of all them. The thing that bugs me about all of them is that Tokyo SOS (And MAYBE ...

  • Best Film Since Terror of Mechagodzilla

This is why we G-fans admire the real Godzilla! He has all the fantastic battles with his foes like Mechagodzilla III and Mothra. What ever could top the Big G. Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S. is an action packed film. It concludes what Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla left off. It also includes a monster Kamebas (Yog,Monster From Space) who is washed on the Japan shoreline dead. This film truely goes into the Godzilla DVD library. Don't miss this cool battle. It make us G fans not want to think about the american Godzilla film and forget it ever happened. And you might want to check out Godzilla Final Wars.

  • Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla was constructed around some Godzilla bones. Repairs are being made to Mechagodzilla. Twins state Mothra will defend Tokyo if Godzilla's bones are put to rest, however Mothra will attack the Japanese people if they don't. Godzilla almost healed from his last fight against Mechagodzilla. Godzilla returns. Oh no there goes Tokyo! Mechagodzilla starts to lose but Mothra comes to help. Mothra get flamed out. Then Mothra's twin larva hatch and come to help giving Mechagodzila time to get fixed. Then the final battle......

  • Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S

Tokyo S.O.S is the penultimate in the current series of Godzilla films and is in my opinion one of the better films in the millennium series. The film follows on directly from Godzilla versus Mechagodzilla 3, though you do not need to watch that film to enjoy this one but I recommend you do. The premise of the movie is that a wounded Godzilla has returned to wreck vengeance on Japan and Tokyo. All that stands between him and Tokyo's destruction is the newly rebuilt Kiryu/Mechagodzilla 3 which has been build over the bones of the original Godzilla and the brave humans who control it. Mixed in with this are a few Mothra larva and a titanic battle that levels a fair bit of Tokyo. The film is great with the effects being some of the best in the Godzilla series and stands out as one ...
