Arrived promptly, and works well. Have used it to remove password protected bios setup on an HP 6570b laptop by erasing and re-programming bios chip. Used clip to do this, leaving the chip in situ. Obtained bios from an identical laptop. So no messing with de-soldering bios chip. If you don't have another laptop, download a bios file. The password protection will be removed, but Serial and other information is missing, the laptop complains, then happily continues to load Windows and works ok.
