A little glue hold them together adequately. So beware before buying "NEW" parts with speakers that are already 15 years old, the speakers are likely dry rotted.

A sheet metal bracket fell off that was adhered to the plastic rest. The adhesive just gave out from age as did the speakers that were rotted out. Good product for a 14 yr old product.
