    Bachmann metal wheels

    I was having some derailment problems with some original plastic wheels. These Bachmann metal wheels eliminated this problem. I have one flat car that has tandem trucks with eight sets of wheels and has been a problem to keep on the track since new. With these wheels it has not derailed once. These wheels roll very smooth and easy. I can pull more cars with less power then original plastic wheels that come on most models. Will have to order more in the very near future.

    Big improvement

    So I run old Tyco trains. Wheels on rolling stock are cheap old plastic. These Bachmann wheels were easy to put on. Cars roll much better and smoother. A big improvement !

    Nice wheel set

    These sound a lot better than plastic wheel sets. They also help weigh the cars down so they don't derail as easily. I recommend filling the ends of the axles down a little to spin smoother.
