    Continuing to be original.

    Building on the first season's wonderful quirks, the show continues where it left off with delightful twists in the story lines. The complex relationships are explored with solid writing. The season conclusion was a bit disappointing, reaching for unnecessary drama. Still, the themes in the show stands out in each episode with exceptional timing from Lucy Liu & Johnny Lee Miller. It's original entertainment, way beyond elementary!

    Elementary - Bring on the next season!

    If you are a fan of this series, you wanted more than season 1. My only complaint with the show (not the dvd set) is that "Sherlock" often mutters or speaks so low that I am constantly having to adjust the volume. The dvd set is well packaged and all the disks played fine.

    So much better than I thought it would be.

    I don't usually like murder-a-week series but the writing and acting on this seem to be excellent. And there was a terrific twist in the final episode of Season One (not Two).
