    Beautiful Journal

    This is a beautiful leather Journal which I gave as a gift. The tree of life embossed leather is beautiful and it also comes with a bookmark. The parchment pages inside gives it an old world look. As the pages are not lined the journal can be used for both writing and drawing. Very happy with this purchase

    Good cover, Good workmanship, Awful paper

    The leather is a good quality for a book cover: very soft and the the design is beautiful. The strap holding it closed is adequate. It is well put together. I would put a little superglue on the knots holding everything together just to be on the safe side if I was going to use it. I won't be using it because the paper quality is awful. It looks like ironed napkins. I have tried to use markers or even a fountain pen and the ink seeps through the page and onto the next. I have tried to use colored pencils and the paper just balls up and shreds (like when you try to scrub something with a dry napkin). It is not adequate for what I wanted to use it for.

    You get what you pay for

    I'm disappointed honestly. It was intended for a birthday gift, but I think I'll keep it for myself and hand pick a better one. The strap that secures it is very thin and will probably break before long, the cover is a very cool design and I love the tooling, but you can't tell from the pictures that the leather is stiff and rough on the inside. Also, the paper is oddly thin... I guess we'll see, it I wouldn't recommend it.

    First Journal Ever and I LOVE it!

    The journal feels very sturdy and strong from the inside out. The paper's used within the awesome leather covering are also extremely tough. Writing on them feels like a dream. Simply put, I love it!

    Great journal

    This is a great way to jot down notes or ideas. I am currently taking notes for my book and will pass this on to my boys so they can understand my creative process. The notebook feels great and is very well made.
