I had the BV 9500 which was an extremely durable phone which took many big hits and dunkings. it still going great with the battery easily covering 3 days of normal useage. This BV8800 has the same high build quality, processing power and storage capacity. Honestly need a year to fully assess the new BV8800 but looks and feels good. Some differences are no micro SD card slot, no head phone jack port, and the button configuration has changed.
