Sparkling and Readable
Very readable and informative history with no bias, political axe grinding, etc. The author takes the reader on a tour of the real life locations Kipling used in Kim and identifies the real life identities of its major characters. Very entertaining and concisely written with the author avoiding conjecture. I knew next to nothing about India or its history, so this was a good read for me on a number of levels.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
