    New feature.

    Works fine. It operates the dvd tray and my Sony TV. The remote which came with this dvd player did not operate the dvd tray. I can turn my TV off and on. I can adjust TV volume. I can choose the TV input.

    Ready to use, no programming.

    I have bought a used Sony DVD player at goodwill and it didn't have a remote. Ordered this and was very happy with it. Put the batteries in and it was ready to go, no programming needed.
