The comms were good and I accepted the transaction, but the vendor (in France) was clearly a middle man who placed an order with the supplier in the US. So this diificult-to-find part was delivered directly from the US. The US supplier included an invoice. It seems I paid probably triple for the part. I don't blame either party. It just felt a bid sour. I learnt that I don't always need to source things via eBay. No genuine Fender packaging, just a plastc bag, but the part no was 100% correct.

Item was exactly as shown and described. Item came securely packaged. The seller is in France, but included a cute little wooden guitar piece with the American flag pattern on it. I thought that was a nice touch! I'll never forget that we owe our independence in part to the bravery and support of our French allies during our Revolution. I also still appreciate the gift of Lady Liberty that sits in New York harbor. Vive la liberte! Would purchase again!
