Decent multimeter for low cost
I'm not expert enough to really give a detailed analysis but this does appear to be a fine multimeter. The diode and capacitor modes work well. It appears accurate. The non contact voltage feature activates even to cables inside walls. It beeps quite a lot so I might stick a sticker over the piezo speaker one day.

After viewing the reports and recommendations I settled on this unit. It has all the features that I need. I took the advice given by many electronics enthusiasts and bought the unit for a number of reasons including safety, ergonomics, build quality and ease of use.

Every Handyman needs one
Okay - I am not a technician and I probably don't have the experience to speak as an expert on Multimeters, but I can tell you this. The accuracy of this unit puts it on par with some of the really expensive brands. Check out the videos on YouTube, then try it yourself. On the subject of accuracy, I have learned a heap about Multimeters since I bought this one and guess what? You will probably never find a situation where 2% difference in reading could possibly make a difference. If you test a battery, (D cell, C cell, AA Cell or AAA cell battery, they won't be 1.5 volts like we have been told. New ones can be up to around 1.8 volts. I tested about 50 used batteries with my Multimeter and there was never a time that 2% would have made the difference between keeping them or throwing ... What I loved about this Multimeter was the ability to detect live wires behind a wall. Now I don't need to worry about drilling holes in plaster walls and hitting a live electricity cable. Just set the function, make sure it is set correctly for AC or DC and point the Multimeter near the wall. Bingo - if the wire is there, it will tell you. I also liked the fold out stand at the back so you can set the Multimeter up like a picture frame so it is easy to read. Didn't like the, Auto Off function. It needs to stay on longer before it turns off to save the battery. I understand that you can temporarily disable this function, but I would have preferred a bit more time built into the auto off - or a user selection. Overall though I am very happy with this unit and the more I learn about the correct way to use it the happier I am.

Best value multimeter in 2021.
Is this as good as a Fluke DMM? No. It also doesn't cost 200+ dollars. It has good enough input protection. It has really nice build quality. It's accuracy is good enough. Is it as accurate as a Keysight DMM? No. It also doesn't cost 500+ dollars. The functions that many value DMM's and even more expensive meters fail in is capacitance and diode testing . This DMM is fast and accurate on both. For the time being, this is the best value for money DMM you can get. Is this as good as a Fluke DMM? No. It also doesn't cost 200+ dollars.
