Ordered phone 08/05/2023 at 5:17 PM. I noticed the shipping address was an old address I E Mailed the seller on 08/056/2023 at 5:20 PM with the correct address. The package was sent to the old address on 08/06/2023 at 8:40 AM. I had no contact with the seller in regards to the address change, and say there customer service is very poor. My review of the Nextbase 522GW Dash Cam
Having used this device for only a few trips at this point, I am very happy with the performance so far. The video is crisp and clear, and the device has additional features, such as GPS that I like. I am also very pleased with the fact that the camera can be easily removed from the windscreen mounting bracket so that the camera is not subject to the extremely hot desert sun that is experienced in my part of the world. I think that if this device were subjected to that kind of heat on a regular basis, it would shorten the life of the device, or the memory card significantly.Having used this device for only a few trips at this point, I am very happy with the performance so far. Sturdy dash cam with easy to use interface & setup. Video recording was ok; night-time video was sufficient as well. Screen was easy to view video on. Clarity was lower than expected for this price range, could barely view license plates more than a few car lengths away. May be over-priced since other Chinese (VanTrue brand) or Korean (Thinkware brand) dashcams offer similar or better specs at this price (and sometime incl. a rear cam). Doesn't have buffered parking mode, only records after any event in parking mode, and uses a cheap lithium-ion battery instead of a super-capacitor. Impossible to set up
So many people complained how hard it is to set up. I didn’t listen. I figured I am tech savvy. This is really hard to set up. You need multiple apps to talk to each other and they don’t. Still not installed because I gave up. Shocking that this unit has good reviews.
