    Works better than expected.

    I was looking for a small antenna that I could mount on the rear corner of my Expedition. I did not want it to stick up above the body of the vehicle and this antenna was the answer. It looks good and performs even better than expected. It’s tough and very well made. Reception is great and I can hear the skip rolling in from all over the US. Tuning is a must but is super easy and fast. SWR’s are not perfect but low enough to make me happy. I would totally buy this antenna again.

    Firestick Value!

    I have used and recommended Firestick antennas for many, many years now. Dollar for dollar for dollar and watt for watt, this 2' Firestick tunable CB antenna is, what I think, to be the best compact CB antenna on the market. It is tough and durable, and its tuning capabilities allow you to adjust the SWR as time passes and environments change. I installed mine in conjunction with a 5" Firestick brand magnetic base and a medium duty spring, and I have no complaints whatsoever.

    Amazing antenna

    I have owned a bunch of antennas and radios, this setup is this Firestik antenna, Firestik bed stake pocket mount and Firestik antenna wire. WOW!!! My Bearcat radio has a builtin SWR meter so once I got things hooked up I could dial this antenna in to an exact tune. Super easy, no special tools, no cutting, it took maybe 5 minutes and it was perfect! Amazing engineering, I would absolutely buy this antenna again.

    Works better than expected.

    I bought this for my Tacoma pickup. I previously had a 4' firestick, but I just did not like the way it looked. So I bought this one as what I thought would be a compromise, and really didn't expect it to perform that great. Was I surprised! The first contact I made with it was skip from Oklahoma to Maine. Sure, I always have a little extra help from a footwarmer, but this antenna is only 2' long, and is mounted about 5 inches back from the cab on the driver side bed rail! It IS a 5/8 wave antenna, which is good, and it performs as well, or maybe even better than my 4' 1/2 wave firestick. And it looks good on the truck! Much cooler look! Now there will be no "oh look, a dorky cb'er with an ugly too long antenna on his truck". The price is very reasonable also, so give it a try. I ...

    Performs well for a small antenna.

    If all you can use is a 2 ft antenna, this is an excellent choice. having the tunable tip is a neat feature. It might not outperform a 5-6 ft antenna, but it is the best 2 ft antenna I've tried.
