One of the great design flaws of the Fat PS2s is how easy it is to damage the ribbon cable for the reset/lid open buttons. For some reason Sony thought it was a good idea to have a 25cm long cable running through the entire case to connect the motherboard on the bottom with the buttons on top... This replacement ribbon cable is just what the doctor ordered to fix this easily damaged piece in the console.
