Audio-technica Usb Dynamic Mic (2012) - New - Accessories
Love this mic. Makes my voice sound great even without meddling with any settings. Doesn't easily pick up background noise, however you do need to be kindof close to mic for it to pick up your vocals at the best volume. I honestly think they could knock down the price a bit as it doesn't come with any special features or buttons, except it does come with a handy headphone jack so you can hear yourself when you use it and a small stand. Great product though. A step down from the Blue Yeti feature wise, but sound quality is slightly better imo.Love this mic. Makes my voice sound great even without meddling with any settings. Decent mic
It does still pick up a bit of background noise. also if I don't speak directly in front of it u get that effect like your speaking in an empty room. ( but this does depend on your setup) overall it's not bad bland definitely better than the mic on your camera or laptop

Nice for USB or direct to my mixer.
I bought two of these for our podcast project and have used them a couple of times with excellent results. One thing to keep in mind if you are going to use these on a Mac directly into the USB, you will have a difficult time using two mics, one will work fine but your Mac will only recognize one at a time.

If it's your first foray into "quality" recording--get it.
For the price--I'm totally impressed. I use it to podcast. I don't hook it up to anything except the back of my computer. I record directly into AVS Audio Editor (very inexpensive) and after I adjust the recording level, I sound great! Not Barry White...but, baby, damn close. However, get a pop screen. I have been using it without, but it's gonna be much better after I use a pop screen. It's very sensitive, so don't be touching it and moving it around if you have your recording levels set high--mine are at 75-80.For the price--I'm totally impressed. I use it to podcast.
