  • Still the excellent version of Sudoku that it's been for 20 years!

We purchased this to replace one that finally died after over 10 years of almost daily usage. As with the original, this replacement Sudoku has been working for a number of years (ok, ok, i'm a slow reviewer), playing roughly 6 games per day (my wife uses it to help herself stay at the breakfast/lunch/supper table instead of getting distracted and forgetting to finish her meals). This Excaliber unit's style of play is that little bit easier/friendlier which made replacing it with the "exact same" mandatory (after we tried a number of substitute Sudokus, including some with advanced features such as loading games from the newspaper).

  • Item is ok but many phone apps like S2 have better play ergonomics and certainly better lighting.
