    Better understanding about digitizing

    I am a beginner at digitizing. As a new embroiderer I needed a better understanding how digitizing works. I have purchased starter digitizing software but did not know how to use the tools with in the programs. Most starter digitizing program do not come with a detailed training manual on how to use all of it features. This book digitizing made easy explained the purpose of digitizing and gives good examples of what you will see in a digitizing program. Once I started reading this book, it gave me a better understanding of what I was looking at within my program. One tool that was greatly needed to digitize is a pen tablet. If you are new to embroidery this is a must have book.

    Digitizing Made Easy by John Deer

    This book is a basic introduction to digitizing for all of us who seek more information before buying expensive digitizing software for embroidery. It is easy reading, and contains simple explanations and multiple photos for verious techniques. The CD is a great additional bonus to this excellent book. A definite must have. I was reading it in my doctors office and a woman tried to buy it from me. I sent her to eBay with a chuckle. You'll want to order soon !!! Babs

    Oldie but goodie

    This is a great book for beginning embroidery digitizers. There is enough historical perspective to explain basic concepts, but not a users manual for today’s current software.
