    Most economical, easy to use and reliable home office printer

    I've always rated the Kyocera laser printers but the 1030 is not only brilliant and cheap to run but also is a duplex printer. Very easy to set up amd use with the all important toner being very cheap on EBay

    This is a workhorse printer for little cost.

    I had a bit of a search to find a driver, but eventually I tracked down a free-download universal Kyocera driver which worked well. The networking feature meant buying an Ethernet interface and running cable to my network router, as this printer does not offer a wi-fi connection option. Having done this preliminary work, I have been delighted with results from all the computers on my network. The double-sided printing is a boon. I was a little disappointed that the seller did not respond to my email asking where I might find an appropriate driver.

    Great value for money.

    Ex-office type machine but not too bulky for home use. Doublesided printing is a great feature. New compatible toner cartridge included is a bonus. I'm highly delighted with it for the price I paid, especially with free delivery.

    Good value for money

    I bought this to replace a laser printer used for invoicing. I knew it wasn't perfect when bought, as there is a slight line in the print, but it is fine for invoices, and cheap to run.It was packed well and delivered quickly. Anybody buying one has to know these use drivers for older operating systems and the updated drivers can be a bit complex so get the right driver for the job. As far as print quality it is good except the line in it.This isnt a problem for me but might be for anyone else so be sure to be certain it is ok before buying as this model is getting long in the tooth unless you get a low print number one like this.The price of OEM toner on ebay is so cheap £9-£12 for 7200 prints @5% =0.1666p per sheet that is makes for a VERY economical printer.

    cheap, reliable but noisy in use.

    I bought this as a replacement for one I purchased from ebay earlier. I wish I bought this one first. The only downside to this printer is that it takes ages to go quiet after it has been used - approximately 10 minutes or so after use the fan is still spinning which makes it very noisy in use. This is a very cheap printer to run, especially as the only part you need to replace is the toner cartridge which can be purchased very cheaply if you get compatible cartridges. Unlike a lot of cheap laser printers this can print duplex (on both sides of a sheet).
