    Loved every minute!

    I've only recently discovered this series on Netflix and then found it was being shown on the Sci-fi channel. Loved every minute of it so had a search for the DVD's and found almost all the box sets on ebay! Only series 5 in it's entirety is missing; for some reason it's in 2 separate packages, so I'll have to get it elsewhere. If you want something faithful to the legend, don't watch Merlin. If however you want a highly entertaining, sometimes funny, often heartbreaking 'sword and sorcery' experience, then this is the series for you. For a budget TV show the CGI is pretty good, particularly the Great Dragon who is voiced by the wonderful John Hurt. Colin Morgan is exceptional as a very young Merlin, having to hide the magic he was born with whilst putting up with the ill-mannered, ...
