LRSF-150F-15 Power Converter
I am glad this new model came out this year. My need changed for a power supply this year for my new Shack is in the woods and I made it 230 volt powered. Just like the outlets in my SUV. So I can plug in this Mean Well Power Supply without switch it from 117 volt to 230 volt. It still accepts 350 volt DC from solar panel also. They did increase the range adjust to 17 or 18 volts but can get to 15.0 volts with ease. It is a lot smaller too. It even runs cooler I think. A few months before I purchased it on eBay, I bought one from another seller and didn't see her picture was of a 5 volt 30 amp Mean Well but written ad was for 15 volt 10 amp. Needless to say time expired for buyer protection for my item I purchased. They all look alike but at least I saw NO switch then checked ... I am glad this new model came out this year. Same power factor as my new Astron PS. good.. Normally switchers have a bad PF but these newer ones seem better. So most switchers are in reality a DC-DC converter with a AC bridge rectifier up front in it. Reason is I use 250 volt in my SUV and auto is a computer brick is 100-250 volt input. So I give it the higher amount. More universal voltage. Done world wide.
