    Near perfect replacement latch

    Needed a replacement latching mechanism for my sliding glass patio door as an internal spring broke. This unit was a perfect fit and an easy project to replace. The only negative was that I had to move the keeper that the latch catches, which was easily done. When purchasing, be sure to remove the old mechanism and measure it, the first units I found had different dimensions than the unit I had, though they looked identical in the pictures.

    Sliding Door Lock Fit Perfectly

    I purchased this E2014 sliding door lock and it fit & worked perfectly. Just be sure to use a vice grip to hold the lock tounge while your removing the old lock set and installing the new one. You need to do this so the old & new locks do not fall to thd bottom of the door. Also use the old screws because the new ones are kind of cheap.

    Wish more products were made in USA

    Great lock

    Good product. Worked perfect. Be careful to order the right lock for position for the lock lever turns. Appears that one lock is locked in straight down position an the other the lever swings left an right at bottom.
