I love this dvd box set of the movies. Any batman movie fan should own this version of batman 4 film dvd boxset. I'm loving the picture better than the anthology version. This DVD collection is a must have for any Batman fan!!
This collection of movies is bound to keep your young Batman fan amused for many hours. They will keep watching the movies over and over again. Also they will get a kick from seeing all the different movie stars playing Batman and all the different villain roles. I have been a Batman fan since the late 1960's, but to see my kids enjoying it, well that's just cool!!! PLEASE remember though, as with any of these Super Hero movies, there is violence to a point. They are all rated PG13. But I would rather show my children a Super Hero fighting against crime. Sometimes we could all use a little help!This collection of movies is bound to keep your young Batman fan amused for many hours. They will keep watching the movies over and over again. Also they will get a kick from seeing all the different movie stars playing Batman and all the different villain roles. I Love the Dark Knight/Batman!
Oh course I bought this right before the Dark Knight because I am finally ready to buy the whole set! I always love Batman. After watching the realistic portrayal of Begins and Dark Knight...I had to go old school and watch Tim Burtons versions! Even though the graphics are cheap you still have to love these! About the set its a nice looking set and it is cheaper to just buy the whole thing because you know you want to have this whole set! Its nice to see all the different Batmens throughout the years! Also cool to see how all the villians look to! Cant wait to see the next Batman movie -- who is going to play Catwoman/Riddler/Penquin in a realistic way? The Batman movies are great. Even though the main reason I wanted it, was for the first two movies, it was nice to have the whole First-Generation collection together. Plus, each DVD has the full-screen and wide-screen ediitions, so it's nice to have the option based on what TV it is played on. Only negative thing, would be the fact that there is nothing special on the disks really. No commentary, no mistakes, not a thing. For a box set, I was hoping for a little extra, but I am still very happy with what was there.The Batman movies are great.
