    1560 dual core 3.0GHz CPU works

    I got one of these 1560 dual core 3.0GHz processors to upgrade an HP8400 workstation so it now has two of these same processors. I fitted it with a heat sink etc. and it appeared in the bios, the computer still works so I guess it must be okay.

    Good Processors but not Quad core.

    Be warned. I purchased 2 of these thinking they were: A matched pair and 4 core. My bad. For £5 not worth returning but disappointed. They were not matched and the one the pc could see was only 2 core.
