Simply wonderful
A blissfully innocent series that is beautifully shot and well produced made back in the days when the BBC produced decent and wholesome programmes that were free of virtue signalling and political agendas. this series captures the spirit of childhood adventure and is full of wholesome morality and fun. I have no idea why programmes like this are not repeated on TV.

Swallows and Amazons Forever!
A good adaptation that stays pretty true to the book and paints a nice picture of life on the Norfolk Broads in the 1940's. The acting by the Death or Glory boys is good but some of the other characters are a bit wooden. Look out for two ex Dr Who's in the cast.

Really enjoyed this, the kids seem really at home with the boats they are handling, comes across as very authentic. Stays close to Ransome's original story line. Love the idyllic surroundings and even the accents seem genuine!
