Has good voice reproduction, not tinny. I did have trouble with a persistent echo that made my recordings useless. I sent in for warranty repair and received it back. It no longer has an echo, but it did not consistently record sound, it missed about 38 minutes of an hour and fifteen minute recording. Again, rendering the recording useless.
