Old but Enjoyable.
The movie is a little dated, but we really enjoyed it. The actors were pretty decent, especially Ed Asner, and very entertaining. As Christmas movies go, it has a good moral. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys some of the older movies.

I loved the movie because it was all about redemption. How an old convict convinced the children he was Santa clause and how important it was for him to be able to get the stolen money to get even with a man who he did time for...Instead of keeping the money for himself he made sure the people he met in the apartment received the money so they could continue to live there.... He Used the money to buy the building and gave each tenet a deed to the property... He made sure the children got there Christmas wish... right down to the boys who lost their dog.. He taught the children to believe..I loved the movie because it was all about redemption. How an old convict convinced the children he was Santa clause and how important it was for him to be able to get the stolen money to get even with a man who he did time for...Instead of keeping the money for himself he made sure the people he met in the apartment received the money so they could continue to live there....
